Italy

OCTOBER 29 - NOVEMBER 6, 2017

Come to Italy this fall and awaken your senses at Faux Retreat Italy. This is no ordinary trip, but an adventure of creativity and soul quenching activities you’ll never forget. Your days will be leisurely, with some days in classes with some amazing instructors, and taking in some of Italy’s most gorgeous vistas and vineyards. You will experience exquisite wines and learn to cook rustic and authentic cuisine and take time to soak up the charm of majestic buildings and the beauty of the Italian landscape. You will also spend a day in Florence taking in all the sights and history it has to offer.  Spark your creativity, try something new, and make a memory that will last a lifetime.

We will be staying at an elegant ancient house located in front of the medioeval Castel of Pieve del Vescovo, and just 5 min away from one of the most beautiful old towns in Italy: Corciano.  We are only 1 1/2 hours from Florence and 2 hours from Rome.

Part of the Villa is the Pieve International School.

Villa Pieve's facilities include various work spaces and classrooms ideally suited to this notion of the Bottega. These range from updated technological classrooms to centuries old vaulted rooms that recall the original Bottegas. The criteria defining this notion of a 21st Century Bottega is the recreation of that apprenticeship environment which includes personal contact with the Master/Professor and the direct participation of the student in the creative process that defines the field of study.

Meals at Villa - Bibi and her assistants do all of the cooking of the wonderful meals!  Breakfast is serve yourself, lunch is one course with wine and water and dinners are typically 2-3 courses with wine and water.

Check out the beautiful Villa where we will stay.
