Accommodations

Beautiful home and additional buildings located on 170 acres! 2 private lakes, views, gourmet kitchen, hot tub, satellite TV (movie channels), cedar sauna, hiking, cross country skiing, biking and more.
Check in is anytime after 3pm the day prior to start date. Check out is by 2pm the last day of scheduled retreat unless prior arrangements are made.
Casual Accommodation

Faux Retreats are held in the style of old European painters where students lived together sharing the expertise of an artist while experiencing a connection and unique form of fellowship with other artists. To keep costs down, everyone helps out by cleaning their own sleeping space and recycling is encouraged. Bedding is provided, but if you are able to bring a sleeping bag it is appreciated. Sorry no room service.

Registration form is completed online, but you are also welcome to print out our forms and mail or fax them in with deposit. If completing form online, within 48 hours of submission you will receive invoice for payment. If you want to be on a payment plan, please contact us prior to this to make arrangements.
3. Fill out form completely. Reservations require 1/4 down payment at the time the reservation is made with balance due 3 weeks prior to retreat start date. Flexible payment plans are available. Visa, Mastercard, Amex are accepted.
4. A Reservation Confirmation will be emailed to you.
Rates and Dates are subject to change and retreats are subject to cancellation if minimum guest registrations are not met. If flying, you are encouraged to take out travel insurance.
Cancellation Policy

Faux Retreat does not offer cash/check or credit card refunds for any reason. A portion of your payment may be used as credit for another retreat within one year of your original retreat date. Depending on when you cancel, cancellation fees may apply. Fees are determined by the following schedule:
• If you cancel more than 90 days before your retreat start date, 90% of your payment may be applied to another retreat.
• If you cancel 60-89 days before your retreat start date, 70% of your payment may be applied to another retreat. You will forfeit 30% of the price of your retreat.
• If you cancel 15 - 59 days before your retreat start date, 30% of your payment may be applied to another retreat. You will forfeit 70% of the price of your retreat.
• If you cancel 14 days or less before your retreat start date, you will forfeit your entire payment.
Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury, or personal emergencies. We do not offer credit for arriving late or leaving early. You must submit your signed Reservation Form and Participating Agreement, Release of Assumption of All Risks Form within one week of booking or 90 days prior to safari start date, whichever comes first. Guests who fail to do so, may be subject to an automatic cancellation and the above policy will apply.
To Join a Retreat

• All retreats are open to solo guests and small groups of all experience levels (depending on main instructors requirements).
• All guests must read and agree to the terms of Faux Retreats Liability and Assumption of All Risks form prior to registering for a retreat or booking travel arrangements. The Release of Liability form is included with the Registration Form via download from our website, or we will gladly fax, mail or email a copy to you.
Note: You will be required to bring your own application tools and some supplies. A sleeping bag or blanket and bathing towel is also required. A list will be provided 2 weeks prior to retreat.

Wisconsin location
To maintain the highest level of service, we limit the number of guests for each retreat so we recommend booking at least 60 days in advance.
Your Faux Retreat includes:
